“The global demand for battery technology is growing rapidly. There are great opportunities here for Dutch entrepreneurs and we are now making them concrete with the new sector guide 'Powering partnerships for circular batteries'.

This guide, developed by Netherlands Enterprise Agency together with the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat and Battery Competence Cluster - NL, helps companies to become internationally visible. With an overview of Dutch players in the circular battery sector, it offers a powerful entry point into new markets, partners and projects.

"How nice that we can receive the sector guide for the circular battery sector. A concrete result of strong cooperation between policy, implementation and the sector itself," says Taco Bosdijk (Policy Coordinator Dutch Battery Strategy for Infrastructure and Water Management).

The guide was already launched internationally during the InterBattery fair in Korea, including a Korean translation, an important step in positioning Dutch expertise worldwide. In addition, the guide is in line with the National Growth Fund project Material Independence & Circular Batteries, which aims to reduce dependence on scarce raw materials and create more economic opportunities for the business community.
