5-Year Battery Availability: For at least five years after a model's final production run, you must ensure its batteries (LMT and portable) are available as spare parts. These must be offered at fair, non-discriminatory prices to both end-users and professionals like NOWOS.
The 10-Year Battery availability (Ecodesign/R2R): Broader EU Ecodesign rules and the new Right to Repair Directive (2024) are pushing the availability of spare parts for the entire product to 10 years.BATTERY PASSPORTS: Mandatory QR code access for EV/LMT batteries (>2kWh) to track carbon, material, and health metrics.
