When repair is not feasible, we offer full-service dismantling, reuse of components, collaboration with third parties for second-life applications, and, when necessary, compliant recycling.

Repair-First Approach

We begin by assessing every battery for its repair potential. Our diagnostics allow us to identify faults, restore performance, and safely return batteries to service.

Reuse & Second-Life Solutions

When batteries cannot be repaired, we dismantle them and evaluate components for reuse or downstream applications, ensuring maximum material retention before considering recycling.

Responsible Recycling

When neither repair nor reuse is possible, we ensure safe, compliant recycling through certified EU partners. While most clients operate under national recycling schemes, NOWOS can support or coordinate alternative solutions when needed.

  • We dismantle batteries to recover modules, electronics, and metals

  • Pre-sorting reduces the weight (and cost) of what needs to be recycled

  • Dismantling simplifies material recovery for recyclers, especially for critical elements like lithium, cobalt, and nickel

Thanks to this process, NOWOS has achieved a 98% recycling efficiency rate of materials recirculated and revalued into the economy.
