Technical Associate - Battery Repair - 40 hours per week
Are you handy, precise, and passionate about electronics? Do you want to play a key role in the sustainable world of battery repair and circular economy? At NOWOS, we are looking for a driven Technical Associate to join our Operations team.
What will you do?
As a Technical Associate, you are responsible for the safe and consistent execution of the initial steps in our repair process. You will work strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure every battery is handled with the highest quality standards.
Your core responsibilities:
Assembly & Disassembly: Perform hands-on disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of battery units.
Visual Inspection: Execute defined inspections on connectors, casings, and wiring, and record your findings.
Component Replacement: Perform approved replacement of basic components such as fuses, connectors, and harness elements.
Testing & Triage: Conduct basic functional tests (pass/fail) and route batteries to the next stage (diagnostic, repair, or scrap).
Traceability: Maintain complete records in our ERP system for every unit handled, ensuring ISO 9001-aligned record keeping.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who prioritizes safety and quality, communicates in English and wants to contribute to this new industry.
Your profile:
Desired education: A VMBO (VBO) or MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering (Elektrotechniek).
Desired experience: At least 6 months of work experience in electronics or electrical engineering (e.g., repair of audio/video equipment).
Skills: Strong manual dexterity and the ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
Mindset: A "right-first-time" attitude and basic understanding of record-keeping/traceability.
Training: Specific experience with battery repair is not required; we provide full internal training.
